On June 3, the President of the Smart City Cabo Verde Foundation, Loide Monteiro, appeared on RTC’s Show da Manhã program to present Cabo Verde Experience Miami 2026, which will take place on June 21 in Miami.
The initiative aims to strengthen ties between Cabo Verde and its diaspora, promote opportunities for investment, networking, culture, and innovation, and enhance the country’s international profile. 🇨🇻🇨🇻
Cabo Verde no Mundial 2026
Cabo Verde’s historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is being transformed into an opportunity for international visibility, business creation, and innovation. In this context, the Smart City Cabo Verde Foundation, in partnership with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Cabo Verde and the Diaspora, JB Africa–US Consulting, and AFRIKIN, will promote strategic business events in the United States.
The initiative aims to mobilize the private sector, the diaspora, and international partners around opportunities in investment, technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, with a special focus on youth and women’s empowerment.
Cabo Verde Trade Investment
Cabo Verde offers a range of tax and regulatory incentives to attract investment, including a 20% tax credit on eligible investments, exemption from the IPI tax, exemption from stamp duty in cases of financing, and a reduced 5% customs duty rate on imports of materials and equipment intended for investment projects.
The incentives cover strategic sectors such as health, the environment, tourism, industry, renewable energy, scientific research, and information and communication technologies, including specific benefits for exports, the diaspora, foreign investors, and productive sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, and aeronautics.
